Library Rules for Individual Membership

Anyone can become member of our institutional Library on request submitted in the prescribed application form along with a latest passport size photograph. Individual Member will be issued a Membership Card which is mandatory for library visit.

Membership Fee(one time only) Rs.  2000/- (Deposit: Rs. 1500/- + Membership: Rs. 500/-)

                                                       Rs. 1500/- is refundable on cancellation of membership

Services Offered

Individual members can use the following services any time during library hours:

• Reference and consultation
• Borrowing of 2 books for 28 days, 1 magazine (from back issues) for 14 days and 1 bound volume of magazine for 14 days.
• Non-book materials (CD/DVD) access-copy in library
• Internet access to electronic resources

Please Remember

• Reference books, journals, CD/DVD collections are not issued
• Member shall be responsible for the library card. Loss of the card should be reported immediately to the Librarian. Rs. 50/- charge for Duplicate card
• Members should check the library resources thoroughly for missing pages, chapters, pictures, binding etc while borrowing the book and report the matter to the library staff. In case the library resource is damaged or lost by the member, they have to pay for the cost at the prevailing market price with fine amount if any and additional charge as determined by the Librarian.
• After due date, the late fee will be charged at the prevailing rates: Rs. 5/- per day.

• Members desiring to discontinue their membership can do so by:

Ø  Returning all books borrowed

Ø  Clearing all dues, if any

Ø  Submit library membership card

• The students, faculty and staff of college has the first right to use the Institutional Library
• The Principal/Librarian can refuse an application for the membership without assigning any reason.
• Items Recall:

Ø  Library has rights to recall any library material, whether it be any library material any time when needed.

Ø  When the library material is being recalled, the borrower has to return the item within two (2) working days. The borrower who fails to do so will forfeit the right to use the library, until the item is returned.
